The Kronplatz above the rooftops of Bruneck, the Speikboden not far from Sand in Taufers or the take-off point in Ahornach in the small mountainous area of Sand in Taufers are something like hotspots for paragliders and hang gliders. The Pustertal or even the Dolomites, the Ahrntal and the main ridge of the Alps from a bird's eye view - this is a delight for all those who love being in the air and under a blue sky. South Tyrol has a lot to offer when it comes to paragliding or hang gliding. Good take-off points, often fantastic thermal conditions and therefore unforgettable flying experiences - this is what makes flying and gliding in the Pustertal and its side valleys so wonderful.
